Ever since, actor Shah Rukh Khan called off undergarment brand Lux Cozi’s sponsorship for his Kolkata IPL team, the

netosphere is abuzz. Lux Cozi owner Ashok Todi, is an accused in the abettment of the suicide of his son-in-law Rizwanur Rahman.

“Proud to have SRK as the owner of Kolkata team,” writes Namrata Mishra on Facebook. Kolkata Knight Riders IPL-KKR, an Orkut community with 119,906 members, has started a discussion board on the topic. Even HT City’s Facebook campaign, ‘With SRK’, is receiving posts. “Great move by SRK who respects the emotions of the masses,” writes Tarundeep Singh.

Khan, however, continues to endorse the brand himself.
