Now, don’t be dejected by that number. Let’s see the bigger picture. Search for the good tiding. Delhi lists way above Johannesburg (52), which was one of the cities to host soccer cup in South Africa early this year.
There may be some solace for the pessimistic Delhiites who are sceptical about their city’s preparedness for the Commonwealth Games. Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur, the only Asian city to host the Games, ranks two digits below Delhi.
Just above Mumbai, our Delhi is also ahead of many so-called hip cities such as Osaka (47), Rio de Janerio (49) and Tel Aviv (50).
