Seeking divine intervention in troubled times seems to be the order of the day, even for so-called ‘modern’ celebrities.
Actor Vivek Oberoi, who recently got engaged and actress Sushmita Sen, who hasn’t had a hit film in recent times, were spotted together at the Lord Bankey Bihari temple in Vrindavan near Mathura on Wednesday.
Reality TV star, Rahul Mahajan and his wife Dimpy Ganguly — who were recently embroiled in an ugly, and very public fight, also looked towards heaven for a happy ending. On Sunday, the couple visited the Sidhhivinayak temple in Maharashtra, and Mahajan told the press, “We have no issues between us and I love my wife. We are together and therefore came to take blessings of the God.”
The same day, Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor, and Sunanda Pushkar, who are tying the knot later this month, performed a special puja at the Shani Shingnapur temple in Maharashtra. It may be recalled that the couple went through a rough patch when their relationship came under scrutiny during the IPL corruption scandal in March.
