The US Capitol Christmas tree (left) is hoisted onto the West lawn of the Capitol on Monday in Washington, DC. The 2010 Capitol Christmas Tree is an Englemann Spruce and was harvested from Bridger-Teton National Forest in the State of Wyoming.
School children from Wyoming will make 5,000 ornaments reflecting the theme of Wyoming- Forever West, which will be used to decorate the tree.
