Overwhelmed by your response

Hey Abhay, It was great to read a celebrity write about conservation. Could you throw more light on your movement towards conserving forests. Also, I loved your film, Socha Na Tha. All the best for your upcoming films.
I’m glad you liked my first film. Was I bad in the others, since you didn’t mention them? Now, for the answer to your question: We campaigned on issues of toxic trade and corporate accountability. We now campaign on sustainable agriculture, climate change and oceans in India — all key factors in the conservation of forests.
Dear Abhay, Congratulations and best wishes for your time and efforts. I’ve been associated with Greenpeace too, and I feel now is the time to start the mission ‘Save Earth’ independently without waiting for any Government or legislation. The websites, www.agnihotraindia.com and www.shivpuri.org show efforts by institutions and individuals to fight pollution successfully. Could we meet up to take this further?.
Hello co-crusader! I agree that the time has come for the common man to call for a revolution, with or without government support. I’m glad you’re setting an example for the others. I will definitely check out the websites you suggest, but since I have my hands full, I can’t assure a meeting with you anytime soon. I’ll get in touch when I find the time for more!
Dear Abhay, I am the person who installed the composter pots at the Deol bungalow in Juhu, introduced to you by Ratan Ginwalla and Anushka Pinto of the Climate Project. I’m now with a different company and we offer composting solutions, develop organic kitchen gardens, and conduct workshops on city organic farming and waste management. I hope to work again with you.
Glad you hear from you again, Anil. It was a pleasure associating myself with the project and I must congratulate you on this one. Please keep up the good work, and count me in at the first opportunity I get!
Dear Abhay, I liked your statement about the issues being in our backyards. As you know, the Oshiwara Lokhandwala belt in Mumbai has large tracts of mangrove forests. Our initiative, Oshiwara Lokhandwala Citizens’ Association works to save mangroves and the environment. It would be great to have your support in this “save forests in your own backyard” initiative.
Wow! I’m overwhelmed by so many people doing such good work and even offering me more! However, films and my current involvement with Greenpeace have me too busy to be part of other endeavours, and I’d like to give each one of these my best while I’m at it. So until I find the time and energy to join you in your remarkable efforts, you have my best wishes. :)
