The duo came out as a couple only this Thanksgiving Day, but they were brought together at an earlier dinner hosted by Paltrow in London. Gyllenhaal’s old co-star and friend Paltrow, 38, threw a private dinner party on November 13, for the new couple in the Primrose Hill home she shared with hubby Chris Martin. “Gwyneth seems to have played a role in their relationship,” a source said.

On Friday, Gyllenhaal and Swift, who were tailed by papparazzi, called the Los Angeles Police Department, who sent in ground support and even an helicopter escort.
