British actor Robert Pattinson, who shot to fame playing Edward Cullen in the vampire franchise Twilight, wants to start his own religion.

"I definitely want to record an album, direct a film and start my own religion," femalefirst.co.uk qouted Pattinson as saying.

Pattinson thinks of one major benefit to having followers of his own belief is the lucrative tax breaks given to religious activities.

"Well, I definitely wouldn't have to pay taxes anymore," he said.

The actor is busy filming for his new movie Water For Elephant.
