Pippla Middleton has split with boyfriend Alex Loudon and is now seeking comfort with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Pippa and Alex’s relationship had been deteriorating for some time before it ended, it has emerged.



Friends have revealed that just two months ago they had a huge fight at a friend’s wedding.



"Pippa tried to get over the split by spending last weekend with Wills and Kate at Balmoral. She and Alex split briefly in the summer — but this time it's over. They are barely speaking," the Sun quoted a source as saying.



Pippa had gained international popularity by her rear hugging bridesmaid dress at William and Kate’s royal wedding.

That however, may have fuelled the troubles in her relationship, as her ex-cricketer boyfriend reportedly couldn’t handle his girlfriend’s sex symbol status.



"It was said after the wedding that Alex was jealous of Pippa flirting with Prince Harry. But the truth is she and Harry are just mates," the source said.



Pippa’s friends have said that she is not in a rush to find a new boyfriend and may stay single for a while.
