Kareena Kapoor-Khan has been constantly pitted against her contemporaries – Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.
While the 33-year-old actor is amused with such talk, her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, keeps telling her to take these as compliments.
"You know, for the last 10 years, everyone is like ‘Kareena is now having problems with this one or that one’. Leave me alone, baaki sab ko dekho na (look at others, too). Why are they always after me? Why must I always be targeted?” Everyone is just after me!” she says, but adds that Saif always has mature advice to offer.
"You know, I always ask Saif, ‘Why?’, but he says, ‘No, take it as a compliment’.”
Of late, various reports have pitted Kareena against Deepika after the latter bagged Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela once Kapoor-Khan opted out of it.
The actor says that she doesn’t even make an effort to stay in news.
"I don’t even go out. Everyone tells me, ‘You should do more PR’ and I am like, ‘I don’t know’. I don’t actively participate (in PR exercises)."
