Jha had flown to Patna to pay condolence to Nitish and his family after his mother had passed away on Saturday. Jha's act of concern has apparently brought them together again.

"When I heard about Nitishji's bereavement, I did reach out. At a time like this one sets personal concerns aside," Jha told Mumbai Mirror.

They had parted ways in 2009 when Nitish Kumar did not approve of Jha fighting elections on a ticket from his party, reported the tabloid.

At that time the filmmaker had said, "Yes, Nitish Kumar and I were friends. We both felt Bihar needed a change and I actively campaigned for him during the last elections. But please note, I never joined Nitish Kumar's party, I have never even seen his office. I did express my desire to contest elections. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. So I had to look for an alternative and procure a candidacy from a party that was credible."

However, now they have put the past behind them and reunited. All is well that ends well!
