Actor Prateik Babbar, last seen in Issaq, is in a cleanliness mode these days. He recently organised a cleanliness drive on Juhu Beach in Mumbai post the 2 days Ganpati visarjan.

Talking about his initiative, Prateik says, “We all celebrate Ganpati festival with a lot of love and care for the deity, but we also need to take care of the environment. After the visarjan, the beach becomes quite filthy.”

“As a responsible citizen, I and a couple of my friends, decided to clean up the place, as much as we can. Seeing us, quite a few other also joined in and we cleaned a lot of the dirt and filth,” he adds.

“People celebrating Ganpati should look into the environment as well. One should opt for a clay Ganpati, as it melts in the water,” says Prateik.
