Prateik doles out bodybuilding tips for youngsters

Prateik has been attracting a lot of attention due to his newly acquired lean look. As a matter of fact, his gym instructor too is very impressed with the amount of hard work and dedication he put in to get the look right. But a few days ago, the actor was in for a real surprise when a bunch of youngsters asked him to give them some tips on bodybuilding.
The Dhobi Ghat (2010) actor was working out at his usual suburban gym, when these teenagers came up to him. Surprisingly, the reticent actor was more than willing to indulge in the conversation. “In fact, he requested the gym’s manager to direct them to a space where he can sit with them,” says a member of his entourage.
The Ekk Deewana Tha actor, very patiently, answered all their queries and explained to them how important it is to maintain a good body and have a healthy diet. “Generally, Prateik is very particular about his workout schedule, but he was more than willing to have a half-hour talking session with the youngsters, who in return couldn’t thank him enough,” says the insider.
Prateik, on his part, is going all out to maintain his physique. He sacrifices on his sleep, but never misses even a single day at the gym. Apparently, Prateik, who used to be a complete foodie, has cut down on junk food and is being specifically particular about his diet and regime these days.
When contacted, Prateik smiles about the query, “Seriously speaking, I strongly feel any form of exercise is important for your body, which shouldn’t be ignored. It’s important to be a little strict with your regime because it will help you throughout.”
Ekk Deewana Tha, directed by Gautham Menon, also stars British model-actor Amy Jackson, whom the actor is believed to be having an affair with. Though neither him nor Amy have confirmed their relationship.
