The wild cat of Bollywood had last year adopted a tigress Durga and now a lioness Sundari from Birsa Munda zoological park in Ormanjhi near Ranchi for one year.

Zoo authorities hailed the initiative of Chopra as she gave money for the upkeep of the animals.

Last year, the Ranchi zoo introduced a scheme for adoption of animals according to which one can adopt any animal for a period of one year to 11 years and the money would be used for the upkeep of the animals and also to create awareness about wildlife.
