According to recent reports, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been exchanging cold vibes over their ‘friend’ Anushka Sharma.

The drama apparently began at Arjun’s party, where the two were unable to see eye-to-eye. The host’s proximity to Anushka is rumoured to have caused the conflict.

But Arjun finally clears the air, saying: “The interesting bit is that only ‘people’ are discussing this matter, not us. I have known Ranveer for ages; even before he became an actor. He had even come over to my house to celebrate the success of Ishaqzaade. We can’t be exchanging cold vibes. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have come for the bash in the first place. We danced and had a good time.”

Ask him whether they actually fought over Anushka and he says, “She was at the party. And what does ‘fought over Anushka’ mean? Matlab (Anushka) koi khaane ki cheez thodi hi hai, jiske liye hum fight karenge (she is not a food item that we’ll squabble over)? People misconstrue everything and end up blowing things out of proportion.”

Ranveer too shares Arjun’s sentiment. “We have known each other long before we became actors. There’s no question of us fighting,” insists the Band Baaja Baraat (2010) actor.
