The Barbadian beauty pays a neat sum to keep her celebrity coif in spanking shape and colour. The popstar has gone through 13 stylists to get the right look. Phew!

She doesn't need much by way of a wardrobe. If videos of her partying at the Kadooment Day parade in hometown Barbados is anything to go by.

But Rihanna, 23, is very, very particular about her hair.

And we need to say very twice because the Umbrella singer spends a whopping $22,000 a week on her hair.

Rihanna recently dyed her hair a bright, flamin red. After going through 13 stylists, since coloured hair needs that extra care, Rihanna finally settled on Hollywood stylist Ursula Stephen.

The popstar pays Stephen $1000 a day (!) to keep her hair looking picture perfect. W.O.W.

Guess fame does come at an (astronomical) price.
