R&B singer Rihanna has reportedly split from baseball player Matt Kemp.

"It happened over the last few weeks. She basically was just over it,"

quoted a source as saying.

Rihanna, 22, met Kemp, 26, after spliting from Chris Brown, who infamously assaulted her in February 2009. The duo was first spotted together in Cabo San Lucas January, and slowly opened up about their romance.

However, the singer has been "So busy. He (Kemp) just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule. Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal," said the source.

Another insider said: "It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just (about) having fun."
