Indian rockers on actor Robert Pattinson playing rock legend Kurt Cobain

* Even the thought of him playing Kurt is appalling. How can a pretty Brit boy like him play such a legend? Johnny Depp should play the part.

* I have to see him in long, blonde hair to believe if he can. (laughs) But you know, given his stubble and unkempt hair, he may pull it off.

* I think attempting the biopic is a great idea. But considering Rob’s only a few films old, you can’t be certain of the outcome. He has a huge fan base and that may help popularise Cobain’s life and music.

* It’s all right if he doesn’t look like Cobain; the vibe needs to be right. I think Joe Anderson (of Across theUniverse fame) would’ve been ideal.
