Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock has got a fresh restraining order against a stalker, who has been bothering her for the past seven years.
The new order granted against Thomas Weldon will remain in place for three years and protects Sandra's son Louis as well as Jesse James' three children, Chandler, Jesse Jr and Sunny.
The 45-year-old star obtained a restraining order against Weldon that remained in place until 2009 and following its expiration, a temporary order was then put into place last month, the Daily Mail reported.
46-year-old Weldon first began stalking Bullock in 2003 and was later institutionalised for mental illness.
According to Bullock's lawyer, Ed McPherson Weldon has sent the actress numerous faxes and emails over the years.Court papers stated that Weldon admitted himself to a Wyoming emergency room in June complaining of anxiety and sleeplessness. He later told hospital staff that he had driven from Tennessee to meet Bullock at her home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Previous papers filed to the court claimed Weldon had repeatedly tried to contact Bullock and travelled around the country to try and meet her.
It has been a difficult year for the Speed actor as her marriage to Jesse James broke down days after she won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side.
