Sandra Bullock told grad students to not pick their noses while giving a speech to graduate students of the Warren Easton Charter High School's commencement ceremony.

The Gravity star surprised the students at the University of New Orleans' Lakefront Arena and shared some of her personal life events with the them, Us magazine reported. She has adopted the school which was hit by Hurricane Katrina.

Bullock advised the students to stop being worried and scared of the unknown because everything that she worried about never happened, so nothing is failure it just means that something better is supposed to come along. "Stop worrying so much. I don't remember any of the moments in my life where I worried. Raise the bar higher. Nothing is a failure it's just not supposed to work out."

In addition, she said: "Eat something green every day. Do not pick your nose in public. How about we just go get a tissue? When someone who cares about you hugs you, hug them back. If someone doesn't want to play with you, it's okay. Not everybody is going to love us."
