Amidst controversies and hype, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot yesterday at the Taj Krishna hotel in Hyderabad. And now the couple and their families are all excited about the upcoming mehendi ceremony.
After the nikah, Sania's spokesperson Richa Naik informed the media outside the Taj Krishna. "Please pray for the couple's happiness. There is also a 'mehendi' ceremony on Tuesday and 'sangeet' on Wednesday", she added.

Bollywood actress and Sania's close friend, Rakhshanda Khan attended the nikah ceremony. The star will also perform tonight at the mehendi.
A grand reception will follow on April 15.
The reception promises to be a star-studded affair as invitations have been sent far and wide to various B-town celebs and politicos.
Tennis players Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi have been invited to the reception. According to sources, Salman Khan and his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail have also received the invitation cards.
A parliamentary delegation from Pakistan will also attend the much-hyped cross-border wedding reception.
