"Young was attending the Governor's Ball -- the annual schmancy Oscar party thrown by the Academy itself, when she allegedly got into a dispute with a security guard and made contact," TMZ quoted a source as saying.

The 52-year-old star was placed under citizens' arrest by security until LAPD arrived to take her into custody.
