Seems the actor had committed to perform at the function, but gave the organisers the royal ditch at the last moment. Shasha wanted to be paid more money than the fee he had initially agreed upon and also wanted to perform the grand finale.

The organisers tried reasoning with him, but Shasha just wouldn’t listen. Ultimately, the organisers preferred to let Shasha go. Suna hai, Shasha’s demand for the grand finale stemmed from the fact that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor had been confirmed for it.
