Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, 64, said she was considered a “bad influence” on girls and was asked to leave school when she entered film industry. Sharmila, who made her debut in 1959, says “Things have changed a lot. Acting in films in those days was not considered respectable. But today Bollywood is looked at as a viable career option.”
