Rumour mills suggest that you started dating Sidhartha during the shooting of Rang De Basanti. How far is it true?
I will not call it an affair. To be true, we have many things in common and on many issues we have somewhat similar views. When I met him for the first time, we developed a very good friendship, which went deeper. But it's not an affair for sure.
So, how often do you meet him?
I have not been meeting Sidharth these days because he is busy shooting. But, we do talk over the phone.
How do you take the success of Rang De Basanti?
I think there are many things to be very happy about. I am extremely happy to be part of the film. In fact, when I heard story and my role, I knew it would click with the masses.
You are working in a film called Antar Mahal where you play the character of a woman who suffers silent exploitation in a male dominated society. Aren't you just the opposite in real life?
Yes, that's very much true. is based on a story that took place 200 years ago. I am playing the character of a woman who is a mute sufferer of physical exploitation. But, I am just opposite to that in real life. I can't stand any form of exploitation. So, the character was really difficult for me to play.
You are going to share the screen with your mother in forthcoming film Jewellery Thief. How confident are you working with her?
I am a little nervous and not confident at all! But I know that I will learn lot of things from her while doing this film.
