Sonam was in the Hindus’ holy city for a 45-day shooting schedule for her upcoming film Raanjhnaa. During her stay in the city, she came across hand woven saris, but was disappointed to see the condition of the weavers, said a source. Now, after returning to Mumbai, she plans to ask her designer friends to use as much Banarasi weaves as they can, added the source.
