This action hero became ‘Champion of the Cause’ for Soldiers of the Earth, a kids’ campaign run by The Energy and Research Institute. He even conceptualised a comic series to make the mission popular and to raise funds.

Rumour has it that his upcoming superhero film is about a dude fighting global warming while saving his ladylove.
Amitabh Bachchan
He tied up with the UN Environmental Program to talk about global warming on his concert tour. He is part of Global Cool, which promotes eco-chic. Big B also gives DIY green tips, like not wasting electricity.
Kareena Kapoor
Bebo turned veggie a few years ago and has been speaking against cruelty to animals. She is a vocal supporter of the move to curb the use of plastic, and recently endorsed jute totes that said, “Ban plastic…especially smiles.”
Aamir Khan
Aamir recently supported WWF’s Earth Hour initiative, asking Indians to turn off all lights for an hour. At home, he turns off the tap while shaving, uses minimum water and electricity and even recycles paper.
