Rock star Steven Tyler has reached out a helping hand to Miley Cyrus following her bong-smoking scandal, urging the teenager to call him if she needs some advice on the pitfalls of fame.

The 18-year-old Hannah Montana star sparked outrage on Friday after film footage of her smoking a huge pipe, believed to contain the legal high Salvia, was posted online.

Anti-drug campaigners blasted the singer/actress for sending the wrong message to her young fans, and now the Aerosmith frontman, who successfully conquered his drug demons, has offered Cyrus his help - even though he has no knowledge of Salvia, reported Contactmusic.

"I don't know what that is, I never heard of it. If Miley is smoking that, tell her to call me," said Tyler.
