The Golden Globe nominees have been announced and Up in the Air has bagged six nominations. Nine follows close with 5 nominations.

The others in the best film category are Avatar, The Hurt Locker and Inglourous Basterds. Meryl Streep creates a new record with two nominations — she has 25 Globe nominations so far.
