Suri in tears, Cruise in Oblivion
Estranged Hollywood couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ six-year-old daughter, Suri, was seen crying after her mother refused to buy her a pet puppy at a New York pet store on Saturday.

In photographs that surfaced online, Suri appeared to like a little white and black Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese mix pup. She, however, started to cry when Holmes refused to buy the pup. Suri then stormed out of the shop, before bursting into tears in the car.
Meanwhile her father, actor Tom Cruise, was photographed locking lips with ex-Bond girl Olga Kurylenko in Iceland, for a sequence in his under-production film, Oblivion. There is speculations about a hush-hush affair between the lead pair, but representatives of both actors have dismissed the gossip, saying that the intimacy between them is limited only to the film.
In latest update about the Cruise-Holmes’ much talked about split, rumour mills now have it that Holmes wants to drop ‘Cruise’ as Suri’s surname. She has already got the child enrolled in a Catholic church and convent school to keep her at bay from her father’s religion, Scientology.
Holmes' scientology fear could possibly come from what Marty Rathbun, an ex-employee at the Church of Scientology revealed on Sunday, claiming that the Scientology church “brainwashed” Cruise's adopted kids Isabella and Connor, turning them against Cruise's then wife and their mother Nicole Kidman. “...They were being indoctrinated, and were reporting to Cruise on how that was going,” he was quoted as saying.
