Swiss is not enough
Holiday in YRF’s film shoot locations? Fans want more.
Want to drive through Zurich like Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
or ski on the Alps like Ranbir Kapoor and Minissha Lamba in
Bachna Ae Haseeno
? Now you can.
For the first time ever, Bollywood production house, Yash Raj Films, offers people a chance travel to all the exotic locations in Switzerland where their films were shot. Called ‘The Enchanted Journey’, YRF’s tour packages come in collaboration with tourism company SOTC and Swiss Tourism.
Says filmmaker Yash Chopra, “I have used the spectacular Swiss locales extensively in my films that have been seen and loved by millions worldwide. I feel it is only apt that I now share this journey with YRF fans through a personalised walk down memory lane.”
At a not-so-modest price of Rs 2,24,999 per person, the tour spans locations like Saanenland, Berne, Lucerne, Mount Titlis and Ticino and includes a trip to Greece and Turkey and Athens.
However, fans wonder why just Switzerland. Debashri Anand, an advertiser, says, “I want to go to the Tulip gardens of Netherlands where Amitabh and Rekha romanced in
Silsila
. How can they not include that?”
In 2005, Noopur Saxena went backpacking to Zurich to see where

shot, but now she too wants more. “Switzerland is so overdone, they should take us to places like Cape Town and Durban.” “Why can’t they include other locations? Brazil of
Dhoom
2… what great beaches… why not take us there?” asks Deven Sharma, an engineer.
