Abhishek Bachchan is the brand ambassador for Earth Hour 2010.

He has been doling out ideas to save paper and trees, on TV. Now, actor Abhishek Bachchan is asking men to please their partners with a candle light dinner on March 27 between 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. “That’s what I plan to do during Earth Hour. My wife will be really happy,” says Bachchan Junior, in Delhi to launch the Earth Hour 2010 on Wednesday.

The green campaigner, who does his bit by saving water and energy, adds, “There’s lot more I want to do. I am looking forward to owning a hybrid car.”
Upset over a news report published in a Mumbai tabloid about Aishwarya suffering from stomach tuberculosis, the Bachchans recently boycotted the Filmfare Awards function [organised by the same group]. Abhishek says, “The issue hasn’t been resolved as they didn’t give the apology that we had asked for.”
