Kangna Ranaut on past flames, surgeries and future ambitions.

When you’re in Bollywood, scandal and gossip are a part of life. That’s something actress Kangna Ranaut is well aware of. “I find it difficult to have a personal life now. I feel so isolated from my world, because to a lot of people in Mumbai I’m a star,” she says in an interview in this month’s edition of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

A lot was made of her relationships with Aditya Pancholi and Adhyayan Suman. “It’s so in the past,” she says, adding that she’s not seeing anyone at the moment: “I’m enjoying being single.” So no Dino Morea and Kintaro Mori in the picture? “These were salacious stories created by the media to sell their papers,” she says.

While her rumoured association with cosmetic surgery is all over the press, Kangna is all too happy to flaunt some of the scars on her feet from a motorcycle accident while shooting Tanu Weds Manu. “People ask me if I’m planning to go for surgery, but I’m against it. I have stitches on my face and lip, but I don’t plan to get rid of them. I have certain memories attached to them,” she says.

Kangna says she wants to try her hand at directing. "I’m going to direct a movie! In four years! I already have a script, it’s a love story," she says.
