It was a fair chance for the city’s lovely ladies to chill as they came together for a women’s-only dinner at Taj Man Singh hotel on the occasion of Women’s Day. The event was hosted by The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood, India, and saw the guests pledge their support for the cause.
Aparajita Gogoi, the national convenor of the alliance, welcomed the likes of beauty expert Shahnaz Husain, entrepreneur Pratibha Advani, emcee Shivani Pasrich, entrepreneur Feroze Gujral, actor Pooja Bedi and author Anuja Chauhan.
Actor Raveena Tandon Thadani was seen urging Advani to join politics, while singer Shibani Kashyap sang her song Maut Sharminda from the film Zinda. Designers Namrata Joshipura and Poonam Bhagat stuck close to each other throughout the evening.
