Magazine gala, held in New York on Tuesday night, the who’s who of the glamour and politics showed up to party. Thousands of fans gathered outside the venue, and according to

live tweet from the venue, there was a little boy who kept screaming ‘Obama’ at all the celebrities who passed. Singer Taylor Swift, who wore a classic black J Mendel minidress, was among the night’s performers.

Also in attendance were Sarah Palin with her husband Todd and daughter Piper. Actor Ben Stiller took the stage and cracked his trademark jokes.

How I Met Your Mother

star Neil Patrick Harris, and Oscar winner director Kathryn Bigelow were also present.
