Timeless honour for Saif Ali Khan
The Pataudi family crest has been immortalised by Swiss luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre. The family crest has been engraved on the iconic Reverso watch that incidentally was commissioned for British officers posted in India in the 19th century, the first one having been created in 1931.

The watch was presented to Saif Ali Khan at the brand’s 80th anniversary do in Paris recently and the actor and the watch will now be part of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s virtual museum that includes watches designed for Mohammed Sultan al Habtoor, the oldest son of a prominent Emirati family.
The actor has just returned to Mumbai with what is now an elegant family heirloom. "I’m happy and proud that Jaeger-LeCoultre made this watch for me with the family crest on it. It will always remind me of excellence in sport and craftsmanship" Before leaving for Paris, speaking from London, Saif had typically tried to play down the honour: "An international brand wants to present me with a watch. Kareena is flying down. It’ll give us an opportunity to spend some time together."
