“For someone who has been in the public eye for so long, David is still not the most confident when it comes to speaking out. He’s very shy,” quoted a source.

“He has spoken to Tom about how to motivate people. Tom is a confident guy and always gives him great advice. David wants to be able to do the same, whatever the circumstances are,” the source added.

This is not the first time David has sought advice from the actor. Last year, Tom and his actress wife Katie Holmes advised the Beckhams — David and his wife Victoria on how to maintain a healthy balance between work and married life.
