Howdee doo hoo my hot crispy popadums! How goes the Thursday morning with you? It was going easy until I got this call, informing me that I’ve to be in office today. Kyun? Kyunki Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh are coming in for coffee and conversation about everything apart from their forthcoming flick, Lafangey Parindey.
So before I zoom off, read on for your dose of daily goss... For starters, my parinda from Andheri’s Lokhandwala Complex has dropped into tell me that all is not well with Asin these days. Reason: she’s still flummoxed by the behaviour of Salman Khan during the shooting of their next movie, Ready, in Sri Lanka. Aisa kya hua?
I’m informed that Asin was surprised to see that Sallu was not his usual chilled out prankster self during the Colombo schedule. Contrary to his bonding and spending plenty of time with her during the shooting of London Dreams, the actor barely interacted with her after the camera was switched off. Aur toh aur, he kept himself busy when they weren’t shooting.
Apparently, some days after her return to Mumbai, Asin asked a couple of guys from the Ready team, as to what was wrong with Salman. And they’re believed to have told her that his priority is his forthcoming film, Dabangg and he’s not letting anything distract him from it.
So Asin is now looking forward to the next outdoor of Ready, scheduled for October in the city… And hoping that Sallu will be back to being his usual friendly self again.
