Unlike Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra is game to date an actress

A few days ago, Varun Dhawan told HT Café that he doesn’t want to date or marry someone from the film industry. This confession came after Shahid Kapoor mentioned on Karan Johar’s chat show that he is "a little scared of dating an actress."
When we asked Sidharth Malhotra about this ideology, he calls it "a personal choice". The actor believes "it’s all about meeting the right person".

"There’s no question of agreeing or disagreeing. For me, it’s not about a profession. But it’s my personal opinion that you should interact with people from outside the industry too. Otherwise, if you restrict yourself, you start living in a bubble," says Sidharth.
But, at the same time, the actor says that there is no compulsion to avoid dating an actor. But he does have some conditions. "If there’s someone, who is from the same profession, and is capable of detaching herself and leading a separate life that would be refreshing for me. For me, meeting someone interesting is more important," says the actor.

Sidharth has been linked to a number of girls, including Shraddha Kapoor, Izabelle Leite and Aditi Rao Hydari.
