The newly married couple feature on the October issue of People and Hello magazines, which have the exclusive images of their wedding.

The cover of People also has pictures of them cutting their wedding cake and Matt Damon partying hard. The wedding ceremony took place in Venice, Italy at the palatial Aman Canal Grande hotel on Saturday evening where the couple was joined by their few close friends and family.

"The wedding was more than perfect," Amal's father Ramzi Alamuddin said, describing the festivities as both "grand" and "simple".

They are expected to spend their honeymoon in Morocco's former imperial city of Marrakech.
