Mots is back with a picture in her hand and a grin on her face. She brandishes it with a flourish and asks me to guess who it is. Before I can shoo her away, she says that it’s not Twinkle Khan or Tina Kumar. Great! So who is this pinky? Mots informs me she’s some starling who was runners-up at the Musafir item girl hunt a couple of years ago. After that, she returned to Delhi, completed her MBA, took up a job in the bank and is now promoting fashion shows. One last thing, Mots pleads. Don’t you want to know the kid’s name? It’s Teena Singh, soon to be Teena Bhatia. Does it look like I care?
Reality bites
Last Sunday, Mottu ran into Prakash Jha at an evening show of Jail at Cinemax, Versova. But what caught, or rather who caught, Mots’ eye was Rakhi Sawant. Our reality queen was in the mood for some reality bites on screen and was there for the same show with a paltan of her friends. And guess what, after the show, Jha and Rakhi bonded for 60 seconds in the elevator. Wonder what they discussed?
