It has emerged that newly-wed Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have finally left for their honeymoon.



The royal couple is believed to have flown to an exclusive island in the Indian Ocean, presumably the Seychelles, reports the Daily Express.



On being asked about the couple’s honeymoon destination, a spokesman at St James's Palace failed to confirm.

"We are not confirming and we are not commenting on speculation on where they may be going on their private honeymoon, we are just confirming that they have gone," he said.



"The couple have asked that their privacy be respected during their honeymoon," he added.
