Mayank Tewari of Smoke House Grill, winner of the Carlsberg Fine Young Chef award, said, “It was amazing to see the turnout...the ceremony was quite glamorous.” Varun Tuli, owner, The Yum Yum Tree, agrees.

“I think the ceremony was absolutely brilliant. I could recognise the top faces from the F&B industry there...that means people took the awards seriously.”

“I really appreciated the respect given to the chefs,” said sarod player Ayaan Ali Khan, one of the presenters. “The fact that they were given the first few rows [of seating] was so unique and sensitive. That really touched me,” he added. Actor Jas Arora loved the jam session with Drum Jam. “I didn’t expect that someone would be able to make the whole audience play along; that was extraordinary,” he said. Did he enjoy the show? “I had a blast! I probably stayed till the very end. It was a totally chilled-out affair. The ambience was bang on.”
