Yeh dosti…

It seems like Sallu & Aamir's bonding might inspire a film on friendship, as apparently their dosti is only getting sweeter day by day...

Wakey wakey my walnut cookies! I know you so want to laze some more under your sheets.. No thanks to the zaalim baadals which are pouring billis and kutta kameenas… But I’ve got just the right antidote. So rise forth and shine my sweetums, and read on for your dose of daily goss…

For starters, it seems like this buddy bonding could well inspire a film on friendship. My birdy from Bandra dropped in to give me some update on the Aamir Khan-Salman Khan dosti, which is only getting sweeter by the day.

salman-aamirI’m informed that when Sallu was told that Aamir is playing an artist in Dhobi Ghat, he said he wasn’t aware of that. Nonetheless, he was quick to state that knowing the latter’s penchant for perfection, he must have mastered the art of painting by now. And then went on about how his buddy’s astute marketing and promotional strategies have not only worked wonders for his movies, but also set new benchmarks each time et al.

Ditto Aamir. At the 3 Idiots DVD launch, the actor enthused about how everyone he met was looking forward to his Sallu’s forthcoming film. “The promotions have generated very strong buzz about Dabangg. Quite a few friends in the industry have requested me to ask Salman to organise a couple of trial screenings because they are so very eager to see it,” he enthused, adding that he too was waiting for his pal to show him the movie.

Hmm… I haven’t heard of such buddy-bonding among actors in quite a while, I must admit. It’s much too diabetic for my tastebuds so used to hot and spicy stuff, I tell you.
