Coconut oil as face moisturiser

Coconut oil may be the in thing right now, but is it really safe for your face? It may not be suitable for all skin types as it may end up clogging pores.

Removing dead cells with lemon

Lemon or lime juice is acidic and can end up being too harsh for your face. And worse, if you step out in the sun, it can even trigger a chemical reaction that may cause rashes, severe burns and pigmentation.

Exfoliating with baking soda

Baking soda belongs in your kitchen, not your bathroom cabinet. Using baking soda can be harsh on sensitive skin, mostly leaving it red or raw.

Toothpaste for spots

The baking soda in your toothpaste may dry out spots, but there’s also a good chance that it may leave it irritated.

Raw eggs to whiten face
