She then moves to skincare and applies aloe vera gel and rose water. “I use Jasmine face cleaner or face wash. Later I apply sunscreen to protect my skin. She also uses besan and haldi (gramflour and turmeric) pack at least once a week,” says Sen.

The Jai Ho actor goes for a thorough skin clean up once a month and opts for water-based products because her skin is prone to acne. She follows a routine which starts with cleansing her face with rose water, and then dabbing sunscreen. “I also use a pack made with besan, curd, turmeric, honey and lemon juice. To keep my skin moisturised, I use a yogurt, honey and orange peel mask,” says Khan. She recommends rubbing strawberries, tomato and potato on the face often as they help in lightening skin tone, and removing tan.

Television actor Preetika Rao, follows her skincare regime with dedication. Sister of Amrita Rao, the 27-year-old actor hates using too many skin care products. “I have sensitive skin so I go for natural ingredients. I don’t use any chemical-based products,” says Preetika Rao. She washes her face with pure glycine soap four times a day. She also says that steam on the face and harsh clean-ups affects the skin badly. “They leave the pores open which cause pimples. The pores once opened, don’t close easily,” adds Rao.

The secret behind the TV actor’s clear skin is eating oranges. “They have anti-oxidants, and they also hydrated your skin,” she says. “Also, whenever I chop apricots, I rub a few slices on my face. I also use a homemade pack made with 4-5 almonds soaked in milk overnight. In morning, I make a paste along with a few saffron strands. I leave it on for 20 minutes and wash it off with luke warm water,” shares Singh.
