Kangana Ranaut is in the south of France for her very first Cannes Film Festival, and from the moment she touched down at the airport on Wednesday, she’s been totally crushing it.

After slipping into head-to-toe black – a below-the-knee skirt and tank top from New York-based label Tibi, Neous flats and a Tod’s handbag – for her travel, Kangana did some quick costume change and was ready to hit the India Pavillion at Cannes in all her out-and-out glitter saree glory.

Kangana chose a gorgeously twinkling black Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree, channelling a glamorous Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Aptly named the ‘Akash-tara’ (starry skies) saree by Sabyasachi, Kangana’s drape was hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that were individually sewn using zardosi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric, the designer posted on Instagram.

Kangana’s look was accessorized with a Sabyasachi batua (handbag) and a sparkling choker necklace, crafted out of rose-cut diamonds, emeralds and pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection.

While Kangana’s Sabyasachi saree was stunning and breathtaking, her magnificent beauty and hair look were equally glamourous.

The actor glowed thanks to her flawless skin, perfectly groomed brows, a nude, creamy pout, her super-long eyelashes and bold black cat eye that perfectly accented her sumptuous saree. Kangana’s ethereal look became even more dreamy with her half-up, wavy hairstyle that was so reminiscent of those Hollywood film stars from the 1920s-40s.
