Priyanka Chopra stunned in a Alice in Wonderland red carpet look, adhering extensively to the theme in a silver Dior gown with feathers and embellishments. She later switched her outfit and wore a short Dior jumpsuit in a nude shade with statement shoulders and embellishments all over. Her leggings were a part of her previous outfit, however it gelled in with the romper with ease. Priyanka completed the look with a pair of bejewelled pumps. Deepika Padukone was all about vintage Zac Posen, in a figure hugging yellow dress worn with a black and white coat. The Chhapaak actor, wore the gown with a pair of yellow strappy heels and green earrings. Deepika chose to wear her hair in a high ponytail much similar to the one worn by her on the Met gala red carpet.
Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet in a nude Manfred Thiery Mugler dress which accentuated her figure to the extent that it was hard for her to breathe. However, fashion trumps basic chores any day and Kim continued with ease. She later changed into another fitted Mugler dress in blue, worn with similar boots and gloves. For her hair, she wore silver fringes keeping in touch with the camp theme of the night.
Kylie Jenner was easily one of the best-dressed celebrities at the Met ball in a purple Versace gown with fitted bodice, a feather train and sleeves made purely out of purple feathers. She even matched her hair with the outfit, so it was only fitting that Kylie would step out to party in something equally glamorous. Kylie chose another Versace gown in teal which fit her like a glove and had feathers around the back. The makeup mogul chose to wear a teal colour wig and earrings to complete her monochrome campy look.
Katy Perry showed up in a Moschino Chandelier dress at the Met red carpet complete with the lights switched on at some point. When the theme is camp, you can never be extra. Just when we thought we had seen all there is to see at fashion’s biggest night, Katy Perry showed up as burger, complete with sneakers and under dress made to look like lettuce. The Roar hitmaker carried a blingy purse to complete the attire while her hair was styled in a sleek bob.
