The ultimate Real Madrid Galactico, Cristiano Ronaldo, pulled out all the stops when it came to a wedding present for his superagent Jorge Mendes. He gave him an entire Greek island!

Giving wedding presents can be a tricky business, unless you are Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. The footballer -- obviously delighted at being asked to be the best man at his agent Jorge Mendes' wedding -- gifted him an entire Greek island!

Ronaldo's 'superagent' got married to fiancée Sandra on Sunday and Ronaldo was in attendance with a heartwarming speech and a very generous present.

Faced with a crumbling economy, Greece is at present selling off some of its islands to private investors. While the details of the exact island that Ronaldo bought are shrouded in secrecy, reports in Portugal claim he may have spent up to €50 million on the purchase.

Hugely influential agent Mendes is also adviser to Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, his new striker Radamel Falcao and Manchester United keeper David de Gea.
