A second half brace by Ahmed Musa powered Nigeria to a comfortable 2-0 win over Iceland in a World Group D match in Volgograd on Friday.The win might have been less comfortable had Gylfi Sigurdsson slotted a penalty late in the second half. The three points revive Nigeria’s hopes of making it to the round of 16 and a draw against Argentina will more than likely be enough. Win for Super Eagles also opens the door for Argentina who they face in their last group game. Iceland need to win against Croatia and hope other results go their way.
