The elder girls had targeted the shop last year too. With the help of the store’s CCTV footage on December 23, 2011, the manager spotted a woman and two girls stealing valuable items. All staff members were given a print of the video grab to keep a check if they strike again. While none of them paid a visit in January, the group came back on Thursday. The staff alerted the manager and the police were informed. When the girls were frisked, eight boxes of L’oreal hair colour, three olive oil bottles, five Gillette razors, nine Gillette blades, four packets of dry fruits and chocolates were recovered.
However, according to the store, the woman spotted in the December clip and identified as Bharti was missing in action. This time, the youngest sister was part of the plan. The girls allege that Bharti was the mastermind.
They were produced in a local court on Friday. While the two minors were sent to a juvenile home, the elder sister was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
